Qualifications
There are many routes to take when it come to the qualifications of an automotive electrician. Most individuals will complete an apprenticeship and a trade test that will qualify them to work as an auto electrician. Another route to take is vocational training. This training consists of a year’s certificate, award or diploma. Vocational training paired with hands-on experience is an attractive pairing to potential employers. More attractive, though, is an associate degree. This degree is over a duration of two years and covers modules such as chemistry, maths, physics and electronics. More opportunities come to those who study a master’s degree in automotive electronic engineering.
